Seven children were killed in a US-led coalition air-strike targeting suspected al Qaeda militants in eastern Afghanistan, a coalition statement said Monday.I guess the fact that the 'authorities' 'detained' a couple of suspects makes it all okay.
The strike came hours after the deadliest insurgent attack since the Taliban fell in 2001.
Police said on Monday they had detained a suspect in connection with the deadly suicide bombing that destroyed a bus full of police instructors at Kabul's busiest transportation hub, killing 35 people and wounding 52.
Anyway, that's the clear implication of the story: Yuh wanna make an omlette, yuh gotta kill a few kids...
Or?

BBC is reporting that the kids were being used as
human shields, that no one knew there kids there, and, gee, who'd a thunk it?
See, we only kill civilians by "mistake."
