"The Purpose of 'Purpose'": Richard Dawkins

Introduced by one of the few "star" biologists/professors of the University of Minnesota, Morris, PZ Myers (Pharyngulites will know the name). The talk is almost an hour long, but is well worth the investment of time, particularly if you might be likely to encounter the babbling, incoherent, god-bothered minions of "the Designer":


I think, and am glad to see, that this seems to mark a retreat from Dennett's "mimetics," with which concept I always harbored many reservations...
