Michael Moore's new film, which premiere'd to rave reviews and enormous publicity recently at Cannes, has raised barely a ripple of awareness in the CorpoRat-Owned SCUM (the So_Called_Unbiased_Media), even though there are loud and persistent rumors that the Bushevik regime, at the behest of their CorpoRat masters in the Big Sick/Big Pharma industries, will try to prevent it's release and distribution in the USofA.
The message they are so desperate to stifle is one Moore himself iterated after the Cannes screening, in the simplest possible terms: the private insurance companies "have to go."
Terms of that simplicity and transparence, one may recall, were sufficient--when spoken about media concentration and monopoly--to condemn Howard Dean to 'scream' in total obscurity after he uttered them on the heels of his Iowa victory in '04.
There's a link to a good Rose Ann Demoro piece on HuffPost Blog under the headline of this post.
Oh, but did I mention that Michael Moore is fat?

Well, it apparently is getting a rave review in TIME.
Personally, I think this one's gonna go through the roof... but then, all of Moore's recent movies have been extremely popular, haven't they? His TV shows, too...
Let's see how two of the most powerful lobbies in the US today, pharma & insurance (am I forgetting Fristie's HCA & similar entities?) respond to this provocation! There is just too much profit at play in the present system for them to quietly allow this attack to go unchallenged.
the regime, afaik, is planning to use the embargo of Cuba, where some of Moore's film was made, to intervene and prevent its theatrical release...
BigSick/BigPharma will be served by the regime they installed...
it may not be enough to entirely oprohibit the distribution of the film, but they're gonna work on it...
